Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the Erienta mobile app and the Erienta website at erienta.app.

Erienta is designed to keep your task and reminder information primarily on your own device. Erienta does not require an Erienta account and does not use advertising or third-party analytics to track your activity.

Information Stored on Your Device

Information you enter into Erienta may include task titles, dates, times, categories, priorities, reminder settings, notes, completion information, and task history.

Erienta also stores app preferences such as your display name, language, theme, reminder settings, and selected notification sounds.

During normal app use, this information is stored locally by Erienta on your device. Erienta does not require an account or operate an Erienta server that receives your task data as part of normal use.

Information you choose to place in task titles, notes, or other free-form fields may contain personal or sensitive information. You control what information you enter.

Accounts

Erienta does not require you to create an Erienta account or provide an email address, phone number, or password to use the app.

iCloud Backup

Erienta includes an automatic iCloud backup feature. When available, Erienta can store a backup containing your tasks and app settings in your Apple iCloud account.

These backups use Apple's iCloud infrastructure. Erienta does not operate a separate server that receives or stores your task backup.

Apple processes iCloud data according to Apple's applicable privacy practices and terms.

Restoring an iCloud backup is a separate action that you initiate. Erienta does not silently replace your current data with an iCloud backup.

Export and Import

You can create a JSON backup containing your Erienta tasks and settings. The file is created for you to save or share using the system share sheet.

Once you save or share an exported backup, its storage and handling depend on the location or service you choose. You are responsible for protecting exported backup files that may contain information you entered into Erienta.

You can also import a compatible backup into Erienta. Importing data requires your action and confirmation before current app data is replaced.

Notifications

Erienta can request permission from iOS to display reminders and play notification sounds.

Erienta schedules its task reminders locally on your device. Erienta does not operate a remote notification server that receives your task information in order to send these reminders.

You can turn phone notifications off within Erienta and can change or revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Erienta does not use third-party advertising networks or third-party analytics services to track how you use the app.

Erienta does not sell your task data, use it for targeted advertising, or use it to track you across apps or websites.

Support Communications

If you contact Erienta support by email, we receive the email address you use and the information you choose to include in your message.

Support communications are processed by the email services used to route and receive the message and are used to respond to your request and related communications.

Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and resolve your request, maintain appropriate support records, or meet applicable legal or security obligations.

You may request deletion of support correspondence that we retain by emailing support@erienta.app, subject to any information we are required to retain by law.

Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not necessary for your support request.

Erienta Website

The Erienta website is a primarily informational website. Erienta does not add advertising or third-party analytics to the site and does not use the site for cross-site tracking.

Like most websites, the infrastructure used to deliver and secure erienta.app may automatically process basic technical request information such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, and timestamps. This information may be processed by website hosting, network, DNS, or security providers as necessary to operate and protect the site.

Erienta does not use this technical information for targeted advertising or cross-site tracking.

Third-Party Services

Erienta relies on Apple system services for features such as iCloud storage and iOS notifications. Apple handles information processed through its services according to Apple's applicable privacy practices and terms.

Erienta may also use service providers for website delivery, security, and support email. These providers process information only as necessary to provide those services and are subject to their applicable privacy and security obligations.

Erienta does not authorize service providers to use Erienta user data for targeted advertising or cross-service tracking. Any service provider that processes personal information on Erienta's behalf is required to protect that information consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your active Erienta task data remains on your device until you modify or delete it, remove it through app features, replace it through an import or restore, or remove the app and its locally stored data.

Completed tasks are normally retained in History for 400 days. A completed item marked Keep may remain beyond the normal 400-day retention period until you unkeep or delete it.

You can delete individual tasks and completed History items directly in Erienta.

Exported backup files are under your control and can be deleted from whichever location or service you chose to save them.

iCloud backup data is managed through your Apple account and Apple's iCloud services.

Because Erienta does not maintain an Erienta account or central task-data server, there is no separate Erienta online account containing your task database for us to delete.

Your Privacy Choices

You control the information you enter into Erienta and can edit or delete tasks using the app.

You can revoke notification permission through your device settings and control your use of Apple iCloud through your Apple account and device settings.

For information you have sent directly to Erienta through support communications, you may contact us to ask questions or request deletion where applicable.

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights concerning personal information. You may contact us using the address below to exercise any applicable rights.

Children's Privacy

Erienta is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed specifically to children under 13.

Erienta does not operate user accounts or a central task-data service that knowingly collects children's task information. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us through a support communication, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if Erienta's features, services, or data practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with its updated date.
